Jennifer attended SMDEP at Yale School of Medicine in 2011. After two years of undergraduate coursework at The State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo, she applied and was accepted into the pharmaceutical sciences program at the University of Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2011.

During her first year of pharmacy school, she was a resident advisor for sophomore students. At the end of the academic year, she was awarded resident advisor of the year. The summer after SMDEP, Jennifer was a pharmacy intern for the Medicine Shoppe pharmacy in West Hartford, CT where she learned about an independently owned pharmacy.

Jennifer is currently a second year Doctor of Pharmacy candidate with the intentions of graduating in 2015 with her Pharm.D. She currently works as a pharmacy intern with Walgreen’s pharmacy. She is also the community service coordinator of the Black Student Union at her university.

In the future, Jennifer plans on looking more into public health and applying for a dual degree in Master of Public Health.
